Testimonials for NLRS

“Surath and team have consistently helped the Sakchyam programme on its translation requirements and delivered quality work against tight deadlines. Their work demonstrates their attention to detail, their mature understanding of (most times) very technical work and willingness to improve, always. I wish the team every success and look forward to hearing of their many achievements in the days to come.”

Utsav Shakya, Communications Manager, Sakchhyam Access to Finance

“Surath Giri and his team worked with us at NMEFEN on translations for our new website (from English to Nepali). They were a pleasure to work with on this task. Translations were on time, and they were willing to work to some very tight timeframes. Getting the right ‘fit’ in translation from English to Nepali is not always easy – it depends on the audience and the context. We were able to work with them to get the best ‘fit’ for our website.I would recommend Surath Giri and his team for translation work.”

“We have worked with NLRS since its inception and with the members of its team before the organization was formed. NLRS has maintained a track record of providing quality translation services and always being prompt. Moreover, for Samriddhi they’ve always delivered value for money in all our collaborative endeavors. We always look forward to working with NLRS team.”

“We contacted Surath to commission English to Nepali translation of our flagship product, Menstrupedia Comic Book. The work needed to be done urgently on an extremely tight deadline. Surath promptly agreed to take up the work. Not only did his agency deliver the work on time, the quality of work was top notch in spite of the tight deadline that they were working on.

The content being translated was on menstruation, a taboo subject in most societies and therefore the translation was a bit tricky as it needed to be culturally sensitive. Being targeted to young girls the translation had to be simple while conveying the original meaning and emotion. Surath’s agency did complete justice to such special requirements of the project and did not resort to simply literal translation.

I am very glad and satisfied to have commissioned the service of his agency. I would strongly recommend their translation service to anyone who are looking for culturally appropriate, people centric translation.”
